zumo 396 turns indications and full voice prompts only in GPS simulation mode

hello all,
I can't make my zumo be useful.
I'm trying to make it display indications and prompts for voice directions but when I start a new trip I get only one voice indication (and some other useless alerts (loss satellite signal...)) and nothing else.
I miss also the next turn distance and info.
The strange thing is that it works when I enable "simulate GPS indoor" and start a trip allowing to simulate the real trip. In this case voice indications are complete, along with turns indications.
I already resetted zumo to factory settings and removed all but default maps.
But nothing changes.
What am I missing here?

LOL! That's me that started that topic.
But this one is little different, since it's inherrent the turns indications and other advices on the screen.
So, I reset the ZUmo to factory default and wiped all maps except the default ones (EU north and EU south).
This morning I set a trip to work and... success! it worked as expected: voice prompt before a turn, speed limit...and so on.
I'll keep an eye on it and see if it became consistent.

When I lose voice prompts on my 590 or XT, it usually means I've activated more than one routable map. Unchecking either the City Navigator map or my OSM map in My Maps corrects the problem.

I am in the U.S. with North American maps, so I can't say what you have. The important point is that only one routable map is active for the area where you are located.

What is the scope of City Navigator?

In the U.S. their scope is made obvious by the map name. It installs as these two maps:
CN North America NT All US
CN North America NT Canada & Mexico

There are six other maps installed on my XT but none of them provide navigation.
TopoActive US
TopoActive Middle America
National Parks
North America DEM
CN North America NT Parkopedia
CN North America NT Foursquare

AFAIK, maps that come from Garmin can co-exist (be enabled simultaneously). It is when third party maps are enabled simultaneously with Garmin maps that issues can arise.
