Hi All,
I finally got my Zumo XT2 after mapping out my route and writing the key directions on paper in the top of my tank bag. I will be using it in my car initially just until I understand the unit and Tread along with all the typical Garmin oddities usually associated with their albeit great products.

Hello! Welcome to the forum. Boy do I remember the days of having a map and hand written notes in the map pocket of a tank bag. I then tried satnav by phone only to learn that there is a lot of the U.S. still without cell service. I've had my XT for a little over two years now and it beats the heck out of the tank bag method. I hope the XT2 works out the same for you.
