Release notes:

• Resolved an issue with TT 15 Mini Dog Collar devices not being detected.

• Resolved an issue with SD cards for Kenwood devices not being detected.

• Resolved a crash specific to Windows 7 that could occur when launching Garmin Express.

Note: Windows 7 and Windows 8 are no longer supported. This will not prevent future versions of Garmin Express from being downloaded. However, any bugs or other issues specific to these OSes will not be resolved. 7.18.3 will be available to download at any time under the System Requirements.

I am running Windows 7, opened Express v7.17.3 and it immediately offered the v7.18.3 update. Downloaded and opened. Seems to work fine.

Might very well do so ... but many Win7 users report crashes so if it happens you'll need to revert. Note there is an error above, Garmin state:

For those experiencing issues running 7.18.0 on older OSes, the last supported version 7.17.3 is available

not 7.18.3 as shown above

It looks like Garmin is confirming that their installation routine does not do an OS version check, although they are saying it in a very convoluted way. It it shame that their 'Download for Windows" button is not labeled "Download for Windows 10 or Windows 11". That webpage should also contain a link to the last version for Win7.
