XT Lifetime Map Updates

just wondering, does the XT come with Life Time Map updates? I see no LMT printing on the XT box

Pretty much every Garmin 'on the road' devices come with lifetime maps these days. As you're in Canada you'll need to check with local retailers but I'd be very surprised if it didn't

Here in Europe (Netherlands) it certainly is.

Even beter, compared to TomTom, you can add custom maps. Like Openstreetmap.
Admitted that does require some skills and time.

Yes, free maps in Canada too. Copied from the Garmin website.

I just missed getting Garmin's sale price on the XT in Canada, anyone know when Garmin will put the Zumo XT on sale price again? wondering how often Garmin offers the sale prices

I'm curious whether the XT is still in production. Hopefully the sale price you saw wasn't a clearance price.

Have you tried Amazon? The US store is definitely selling them at reduced prices.

I got an email reply from Garmin Support about the XT lifetime maps-
Interesting that they don't use the term lifetime anymore,
Which explains why there's no LMT printed on the box
email says:

The unit has free map updates. Garmin no longer uses the term "lifetime" (LM or LMT).
