Casting an XT's screen
I'm due to host a seminar on satnavs on Tuesday for my local club, initially concentrating on Basecamp and the relatively ubiquitous XT. The room has a large wall-mounted TV, which will show ('cos I've tried it) my laptop screen simply by connecting the two with a long hdmi lead. Demonstrating Basecamp, Myroute-App etc will therefore be straightforward. I'd like to show the XT's screen as well, but have no idea if that's possible. I suppose if I could work out how to show the image from the laptop's camera on its screen I could simply hold the XT in front of that, but that would hardly be ideal. Anyone got any ideas? John (jfheath) I'm looking at you!

Hmmm - the Zumo XT doesn't deliver a video-out signal, so i fear there's no chance for you to show the Zumo XTs screen directly!
I think the 'easiest' way would be to take screenshots of all necessary screens on the Zumo XT directly and then copy them from the Zumo XT to your laptop to show them on the TV...
To take screenshots, first activate the function on the Zumo XT ( Settings/Display/Screeenshot), you should than see a symbol of a camera in the upper right corner of the screen. Take your necessary screenshots, disable the function again and connect the Zumo XT to your laptop. In 'Internal Memory' there should be now a folder called 'screenshots', where you can find your taken screenshots in .png format...
