Lost of all internal memory files

Hi friends, a friend of mine has deleted all internal files (internal memory) of its Zumo xt, so it not start properly and isn't possible to connect ad memory drive to copy data (I can copy my xt files on its Zumo).
Does anyone can help me to solve this problem? is there the mode to connect via USB or transfer the files in the internal memory to permit it to start,please?
