The XT has a few weird routing behaviours - and for a long time they were annoying me / us. When you come across them, they will irritate you - and you will be back on here saying - "Oi - you said ......."

Yes we did, but that is because we have the answers that Garmin were unable to provide. So come back to us. My XT is now a very good bit of kit with just a little "know how".

Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !

You might need more than "a couple" days. Some of the XT behaviors are not what you might expect. You will definitely want to read all twelve sections of this post in order to understand how the XT works.

My point of view, if you are looking for easy and user friendly GPS hardware without internet connected features and advanced knowledges, I suggest to change the mind and focus to different vendor or smartphone applications (with motorcycle routes there are few great).

Hi, seriously considering the XT2 for my Grand America. I've looked through the owner's manual but can't seem to find an answer to this....Can I connect both the rider's helmet and passenger's helmet to the XT2 to receive nav instructions or am I limited to one BT connection?
Thanks in advance for any info!

I have seen an option on the XT2 to connect a headset after one has already been connected, but have never tried it. I don't know if it will affect the phone capabilites. I'll find out. I have a pair of cardo packtalk Edge headphones.

The zumouserforums is shifting servers today so it will be offline until the world wide Web has updated its records to point to the new server.

I should have an answer by then.

Update to previous post.

Yes the XT2 will connect to two headsets. Satnav instructions and music will play through both.

Don't know about phone calls. Probably - maybe.
