Tread: no results when searching

I am guessing , and I could be very wrong , that many use their XT2’s , as a simple satnav ,without the assistance of the Tread app.

If I am correct , then people will not know what they are missing .
The Tread app is not as sophisticated as Basecamp ; when Tread works ( which it currently isn’t ) , it has a much superior search facility, a much easier route planning ability and awesome transfer ability to either XT2 or your mates either XT .
What’s not to like?
Collections is a huge bonus for Tread
Basecamp has other advantages eg timed stops in routes , but hey I can live with that so no longer have need for Basecamp.
I can no longer tolerate the difficult Basecamp transfers to XT or XT2 even though I’ve figured it. Tread eliminates those gpx sharing difficulties of the past .
I need to get Tread search working as it was.

2.09.52 software update and suddenly seems working again; can now find Heathrow Airport and my home address .

Yes it appears to be working fine now on both my phone & tablet. The app has also been updated in other ways as well. The menu is different with explore being changed to favourites & the map layer tab now opens a more graphical interface, they're may be more changes but these are the ones that jump out on me.

Also , when in maps , any collections are now alphabetical !!!
Maps now have regional detailed downloads , as do satellite views .
This latest offering seems a big improvement !

That said , the latest offering did not fix the search malfunction immediately ; it has taken a few days to start functioning .

The "Favourites" in Tread ie collections, all waypoints, routes and tracks are all sorted by the last criteria you chose. So, chose "by name" in waypoints, then the routes etc will all be by name. Which can be confusing until you know this.

Yes indeed and all sortable with options , but before this latest update , the list displayed , from the seperate map view ,on the right, were always very jumbled . Now fixed .
