I have 47 collections ; a very big user of waypoints .After creating , say ten collections , anything thereafter stops responding .
Full synchronisation with Garmin Explore successful , just not with XT2
I have tried complete reset of XT3 and re installation to Tread .
Going to phone Garmin tomorrow
Tread Collections not synchronising to XT2

Re: Tread Collections not synchronising to XT2
The same thing happens to me. When I synchronize several of my "old" collections, and a lot of material comes together on the XT2, the synchronization stops working properly, and the Tread App starts disconnecting.
Re: Tread Collections not synchronising to XT2
So glad that I'm not the only one .
I have deleted all data and reset XT2
Resynchrinised with Tread and all collections now not listed : just 3,000 Unorganised items
So disappointing, considering that Tread and Garmin Explore website are perfectly synchronised

Re: Tread Collections not synchronising to XT2
That's right, the same thing has happened to me several times. The only solution I have found is to not activate Explore sync in the XT2, this way many collections can be imported without problems . It doesn't happen with 4-6 collections, but when it goes beyond 12, and with a lot of synchronized material as you say, the problems begin.
Re: Tread Collections not synchronising to XT2
Exactly
GARMIN need to know this
Once you have x number of collections , it stops synchronising

Re: Tread Collections not synchronising to XT2
FIXED temporarily I guess ( no help from Garmin ), lots of trial , error and failure .
1) Make sure that Tread shows itself synchronising , if not redo the setup ( first the moment ignore the fact that the faulty Collections do not synchronise )
2) Tread , open the MAP and create a new waypoint and call it TEST
3) Tread ; save the TEST waypoint in EVERY COLLECTION , by selecting them all
You will then discover that all collections will synchronise and abd vanished will reappear
Magic !!!
4) Delete TEST , from the map ( which opens them all )
Easy !
My thinking is that something has confused the gpx files
A gpx file is completely overwritten as a new data file, when a new waypoint is added
A Collection is simply a gpx file , containing all waypoints and or routes .
Adding a new file to the Collecton creates a new gps , so adding your all effectively generates a complete new Collection

Re: Tread Collections not synchronising to XT2
Fixes that Garmin users have to make because their software is regrettable. Do Garmin engineers do any tests? because if they left me in their office for 2 hours I would find several bugs in their software .ZumoGSer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 6:50 pm FIXED temporarily I guess ( no help from Garmin ), lots of trial , error and failure .
