After selling my new XT, I was thinking of replacing it with the XT2, but after learning that Basecamp doesn't work on XT2 I went to the 396 instead, I'm a fan of Basecamp. 8-)

the XT2 is probably a great GPS but I don't want to use my smartphone,
(Edit) my smartphone is not very smart lol

The XT2 does work with Basecamp, but it's not officially supported. So routes may lose attributes eg driving will become motorcycling. Shaping points have a whole pain level if you have Tread active.

I'm going to start adding a waypoint destination and let the zumo calculate the route, no more shaping points and no more RUT (repeat u-turns)
