Java (RUT) Question

Post by Scarecrow »

Sorry Guys if I've missed this but,
If I run a route through the Java program, do I have to do it again if I send the route to another XT

Depends on how you send it to the other XT.

- if you copy the modified .trip file to the 'internal storage' of the other XT, there is no need to run the program again.
- If you send the trip from one XT to another XT using the 'Share' method. Yes, run it again.

The method to verify is to check if the trip is listed under 'Imported' or 'Saved' on the XT you're sending to. It should be under Saved.

If you are a Windows user, also check out TripManager. https://www.zumouserforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3150 IMHO It can fix the trips the most easy way, and much more.

Another question to answer on that issue is about the map on the 'other' XT.
Are the map versions identical or not.
