xt to xt2 thoughts ?? xt dead..

Having Garmin zumo XT problems? there is loads of help and advice in this forum

xt to xt2 thoughts ?? xt dead..

well, my xt died over the winter, a day on usb, a day on the cradle , long press, nothing... soooo off to garmin for the exchange for $130 usd (bought new in like 2020) :cry:
anyways, I see the xt2 is on sale, and sorta looking at it... thoughts on going to the xt2 vs xt ?? more of the same, or a nice upgrade ?? trips faster, weather works in motion, or any nice things ??
I use explorer and have many things in collections, also MRA user, and have lots in folders and such there as well..also have my inreach mini2 tied to it..

2 weeks ago I had no thoughts of the xt2, but since I have to set up a new gps anyways, it got me thinking..

One thought, as I have read in many other posts, the XT2 is not directly compatible with Basecamp, by design from Garmin.
