Downloading latest map to basecamp

Right, so if one of them is the one you were trying to download, that download may be corrupt. So delete it and start over downloading to your Mac.

I will try it out today,but, I was actually trying to downloading the map on my device, which is in this folder,not in the long digit form as the other maps are,but as 2026.10. I think I have removed it before,at least in the finder basecamp section,but not in the garmin library,and it made no difference. This is why I was asking if there was a way to load one of the maps in the garmin library,to see if any of the maps will show up on basecamp!

And this where I came in,I can't download the map on my device to my computer using garmin Express,it stops 2.9% into dowload! Which is why I ask if it's possuble to install one of the maps in library,to basecamp?

Your initial post seemed to indicate you were trying to download it from your device hence my initial comment. If you're trying to download it using Express and it's failing see this Garmin FAQ

In order to download it from my device,I have to use garmin express,it's the only way to do it! There was no problem with express to device,the problem is with downloading to basecamp!

I'm pretty much out of ideas. Have you done the steps in the Garmin FAQ sussamb linked to above?

Because downloading to your GPS worked, we can eliminate Internet issues, so the problem must be on your Mac. Re-installing Express per the FAQ would be worth trying. Also, you could create a new user account on your Mac, install fresh copies of Express and Basecamp, and try again.

Having done as advised,the only difference was the error comes at 1.8% ather thsn 2.9 % previously.

Others might have this problem. Can you tell us just how you corrected the issue?
