Hello all! I’m Dave. New member here. I just got my zumo XT2 and digging into the forums here. Hopefully I can find answers to my questions as they arise.
First question I have that I haven’t been able to figure out - why is the zumo only showing me the campgrounds that are nearby my location? In terms of planning , shouldn’t I be able to scroll the map on the device to find campgrounds that are on my route , halfway across the state?
Please , any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums @Dave31650
After a period of time, locations further away should show up if you zoom out. But up ahead places really work best if a route is active. They will then show up on the map and you can also obtain a list in distance order, which updates as you progress.
Note that it can only update if the Tread app is active on your phone. ie it has not been swiped off. I don't know when that became necessary, but noticed it just yesterday with weather, traffic. So of course, tread has to be installed. It doesn't have to synch your route, but it has to be installed and linked to the XT2.
The link below is to do with Traffic info. It's not quite the same thing, but some of the comments I made in that series of pages apply to all up ahead places.
