Following. I need a skip tool or simply a way to simply skip a point as well. Drives me crazy! The only way I've found to stop the 595 from telling me to u-turn is to stop the vehicle and stop the route on the 595. Then restarting the route makes it be normal again, most of the time but not always. Way, via or shaping point- makes no difference.KSza1 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 5:16 pm Recently completed a weeks riding with a new 595lm. I used to a 590lm in the past. The screen on the 595 is basically unreadable in sunlight. I tried multiple themes which helped om my 590 but nothing I did made the contrast any better in the sun. In the shade it was alright. Has any else had this experience with the 595 screen. Also the skip function in the tools on the 595 is not available although this seemed to let me rejoin a route I had deviated from and had passed a waypoint.
Last time I knew where I was and where I was going so I didn't stop just to see how long it would try. 14 miles, maybe more. After 14 miles you'd think the damn thing would just move on! Nope, I had to stop, etc.
