Software update

I updated the software to the latest version last night which brings some changes to the backend of the software.

I have also installed a dark themed style should anyone prefer a dark theme

The styles can be found in your user control panel by clicking on your username then go to board preferences and change the "My board style" setting

If anyone spots any issues then please let me know

@Stu , FYI... I have not been able to get the version to function correctly with my default browser Vivaldi. Logins frequently fail, site navigation (eg: Board index, Quick links) result in needing to login again. Cookies and site data have been cleared. The site appears to be functioning fine with Slimjet so the problem seems specific to Vivaldi (I have not tested any other browsers). I will post back if I can identify a specific cause within Vivaldi.

I would be interested to hear from anyone else using Vivaldi of their experience.

That's not a browser I have heard of before but I will install it and have a look myself too if I can

Don't obsess over Vivaldi on my account. There is another site that I frequent that Vivaldi doesn't like so this one isn't the only one. I really like Vivaldi because it is extremely configurable. It is my default browser, but no my only browser. It has built-in tracker and ad blocking which I disabled for this site. I also allowed cookies.

I am back with an update...
When using Vivaldi, early indications are that enabling the "Remember me" option at login seems to resolve the issue of having to login again when navigating with the site (eg: switching from 'Unread posts' to 'Board index' or vice versa).

I have tested these other installed browser: Firefox, FlashPeak Slimjet, Brave, and Edge.
All seem to function fine without "Remember me" enabled so the issue seems clearly with Vivaldi and "Remember me".

@Stu, I just want to reinforce that I don't expect you to spend any time on this. I have an aversion to websites remembering anything so that is on me.

Thanks @stu - the ACP section is much easier to navigate now - grouped pages rather than one long list.

Something has happened to the @ - mention person by name. It rarely works now and no drop down list of options appears

Ah - yes - I see that it is different now and it works on my Windows 11 PC.
I was on my Ipad - it used to work Ok, but now no drop down list appears.
Don't worry about it. It works on the PC

Do you want a phone call or a PM chat ? I'm often 'busy' in the mornings, but afternoon and evenings are usually flexible.

Wonder it this is ios related! I will mention it to the developers

Works Ok on Windows and OK on my phone.

Ipad behaviour - no. ipad Air IPadOS 26.4.2
I just checked again.

No scrub that - I've just been into Safari and changed cross-site tracking to NO. It worked.
Changed it back to what it was - and it still worked.

So I haven't got a clue why - I'd already swiped all apps off the ipad and reloaded it....
I'd already tried logging out - getting rid of Safari as an open app and reloading it without success.

Maybe i just needed something - anything - changing in the system settings. Puzzled, but pleased it is working.
Now as soon as I type the @ symbol it pops up a message 'No match found' and then quickly generates the filtered list as I type more.
