Good day!
I am having problems with audio output on my 595LM. I have the device mounted in the motorcycle cradle and if I select the Volume button on the screen, the following error message comes up:
"Audio requires a headset or a powered mount with a speaker."
I have the mount powered up and a set of headphones attached to the Audio Out cable, but this error still appears.
Any ideas on how to resolve this? Due to my current system, I can't use Bluetooth for audio.
Thanks so much!
Gord

Re: 595 Audio Error
It's a problem I've had very badly recently - had it occasionally before, as has a friend, but this time nothing I could try would help, even buying and fitting a brand new cradle - it would just not output any audio while in the MC cradle.
Garmin support were no help at all - their "solution" was to sell me a replacement at an exchange price that was pretty much the same as the discount prices you can buy a new 595 at.
However, I DID find a fix. I found that if I started the Garmin playing an MP3 file before inserting it into the MC cradle, it would work. I had to do this a few times, and then eventually it started working normally again, without having to do this.
