I have a Zumo 595 connected to the Garmin Smartphone Link app on my Android phone. That should provide me with Live Traffic updates and Speed Camera information, according to https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp ... EBE9D.html.
However, when checking the app, it lists live traffic information but there's nothing listed in Speed Cameras.
Are speed cameras not available for free, despite the wording on the link above? Does it only list cameras within X km radius?

Re: Garmin Smartphone link app speedtraps
Hi and welcome to the forum
live traffic and real time safety cameras are free
It may be a case of that it is based on a radius
I have just turned mine on and it shows 5 cameras within 5 miles

Re: Garmin Smartphone link app speedtraps
Hi Stu.
That's nice to know, as I kind of suspected that live camera updates might only be available for those having paid for the additional service subscription.
I will check the app again, when the wetter gets more two wheel friendly. Now it's freezing here
The conclusion must be, that a certain radius limits the amount of speed traps shown.
