Ok, here is what I have got from my "waypoint" issue:
Use the POI loader, so who here is a bang wiz at the POI app? I understand it so far, but I seem to be having some issues. I have loaded a bunch of them into a test file in BC. I even used the 48X48 LARGER ICONS, I set up a proximity feet and can see it on BC. Expoted the file and loaded to my Zumo......
nothing.

Re: POI loader
it is a .gpx file when I export it in BC. I have had SOME success, but I'd thought the unit would work differently when coming up to a POI.
A good start for me now would be if I could get like 10 good ICONs that are bigger, 48x48 so I can see them on my unit. I had a couple of these "test" files and one of them had a good proximity alert. But the only thing it did was have a small text at the top of my unit.

Re: POI loader
hmmmmm...........
In BC when I go to "export" the file it automatically makes it a .GPX file. I just did a quick search in POI and all it does it load a file, I did not see a way to make it a .GPI file.

Re: POI loader
I have POI loader. There is no way to create, edit or view any POIs in POI loader. I use BC to do all of that.
Re: POI loader
You need to create the .gpi file for your device in POI Loader. Once it's there you can view those locations in BaseCamp.
The fact is if you want them on your device as POIs use POI loader, if you want them as normal favourites use BaseCamp.

The above is all I have read, how do to make a file IN POI loader? I have attached a SNIP of the software and the application I am using.

Re: POI loader
Well I have made some progress, but it seems to be taking a bit more time that I expected. I got a few "TEST" one to work..... here is a screen shot of my BC.
Why is there 2 ICONS? I am using the larger 48x48 ones so I can see them on my 595 (HAMBURGER). The default one is the knife and fork in BC, then under the NOTES tab I added the larger ICON.
SO why am I seeing 2?
