Transferring maps from one PC to another.

I've got my maps installed on one computer, all to default location of programdata/Garmin/maps.

Can I copy the Garmin/maps folder and contents and put 9n another PC and have Basecamp recognize they are there, or do I actually need to download on the other PC for it to work correctly? Trying to save myself some download time as I know it'll fail on my slow home internet and I don't really want to haul the PC to work to do it.

There's a couple of programs from JaVaWa, GMTK and Device Manager that everyone with a Garmin will need at some time or another, GMTK will do exactly what you want

Note just copying the folder won't work.
