It has ANT+ support because that's what the XT uses to communicate with the Inreach device..

Garmin pretty much seems to have ANT+ across the board.
The wee low-buck Edge 130 computer for my bicycle has ANT+, as do all the current sports GPS/computer/gizmo-widgets.
