Recording Route

How do you record a route on the XT?

What I mean is that you are following a route and you want to record the route as you go. So how do you start and stop recording the route, which I assume you are able to do on the XT?

From the main menu - 'Track' then hit start.

Thanks.

So that is what that function is for! Simple when you know how.

Just got mine and out for a short run today. Don't think you even need to start the Track Recorder. It automatically records your track as you ride. If there's a particular part of a run you want to have in a track of its own then you can use the track recorder (but from what I see the automatic track recording stops so you end up with partial tracks). Like I say, my first run so I stand to be corrected.
