Wondering if any users (I know there are a few on here) with the XT can offer any tips getting the PGPSW database to work on my XT. A little background, I have been using it for many years on my Montana & 595LM. I have installed it in exactly the same way as before, using POI loader & placing it on the sd card.
I have checked that the data is present & correct but I cannot get the poi's to show on the map or get them to alert. I have tuned off the Garmin camera alerts & tried with only custom poi's ticked, but still no joy.
Could any user that has it working give me a quick run down, of what they enabled, as I thought it would be identical to the Zumo 595.
Any help would be much appreciated, as I find the PGPSW data to be far superior to Garmin's.
Many thanks.

Mine do not show on the map but do alert. You have to download the individual excel files and the associated audio warnings together

Thanks for that, I think the XT may be different to other Zumo's, on my previous 595 you just downloaded the complete file via poi loader & it worked!

Fairly sure that I've not changed how I download and then install the databases from the Montana and 590 / 595 compared to how I do it with the XT.
On their website I select
The camera icons are very small, but in the top banner, at the right hand side there's a "!" in a small box, tapping on this shows the warnings.

- Garmin POI loader
UK Speed zoned complete

Re: Pocket GPS World Speed Camera Data Base
I will try that - the original instructions from years ago, from PGPS world was to put them on the card & not internal storage, otherwise they would not work. So I have always put the on the card, with no issues. (except the XT).

Re: Pocket GPS World Speed Camera Data Base
I haven't used POIs for a long time, so cannot help on that score.
However - be aware that the XT does something really odd with favourites stored on the memory card.
It loses them.
Unless there is at least one favourite stored in main memory , when they reappear as if by magic.
I would avoid using memory card when you first try things out. Just in case there is similar behaviour.

Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
