sussamb wrote: Thu Jun 28, 2018 4:39 pm Without the route and seeing what it actually did diagnosing this issue isn't easy. Don't suppose you're able to post the route and explain where it went wrong?

Or is this the same issue as in your other thread, in which case it's resolved?
NOTHING is resolved. Not in this thread, not in the other thread. But I created two different threads for 2 different problems, please do not merge the two. I confuse easily ;) .

Again, here's what went wrong:

I preview a route. It matches EXACTLY the route I created using Base Camp. When the route is active, I am following the purple line on the screen. From origin to 1st point all is good. From first point to second point it wants me to take a right then a left into a fenced cow pasture even tho the route I created using Base Camp and transferred EXACTLY to my 595 matched and continued in theory down the same road I was on. And again at the second point to 3rd point, it tried to send me down railroad tracks even tho the previewed EXACT route continued down the same road I was already on. And so on third to fourth point, to fifth, sixth, seventh.....

Describe to me step-by-step how to "post a route" and I'll do it. Skip nothing, abbreviate nothing. I have no idea how to but I will if you think it will help.

Ah okay. I'm away for a week or so so no chance of looking at this problem, thought it might have occurred because as we discovered in your other thread you were choosing the last waypoint and not the first.

The bold section above is a problem. I did the export and save, no problem. When I go to My PC/Documents/etc I can see my exported and saved route.gdb file. But when I click the Attachments Tab/Add Files, it says .gdb files are "not supported".

Do you know how to make a zip file from the GDB file? If so, do that and post it. If not, wait for Stu.
