My name is "Resca", I am 65 and I ride a bike since 1968. Presently I own my Honda NX650 Dominator, bought new in 1979, that has "only" 92'000 Km on its wheels but still runs fine. In the last years, I drive 5-6'000 Km every summer, mainly on the Alps mountain.
I started my GPS planning and navigation with a basic TomTom One, made waterproof by me. Some years ago, I switched to Garmin Zumo 590. I am happy of it for the hardware but I am very disappointed about the behaviour of software and, mostly, the total deafness of the support people at ggarmin.com. Anyway, I learned to workaround the problems and survive with them.

Re: Hello!
Welcome to the forum Resca. I've had some great tours in Northern Italy on my bike, in the mountains and one memorable visit to Milan. I did take the train into Milan, I left my bike at my B&B stop in Abbiategrasso. Milan--great city
