Big Sur and BaseCamp

Those of you running BaseCamp with Big Sur may be experiencing problems. Garmin are aware of the issue and apparently are working on an update to BaseCamp, in the meantime it appears that switching the map view to 3D rather than 2D is the current workaround.

I want to thank you for the information. Been trying everything and my MacBook Pro would not run Basecamp without continuous spinning beachball. Running in 3d mod has worked for me.
