As the above titles states. Way better screen. Easier to read. Maybe it was my impression to go to the 395. Thought that it would lead me to the twisty roads. Nope it only tells me what is in front of me. Better picture on the 660.
Anybody else disappointed on the Zumo 395?
Great day to make the change. It is coming down cats and dogs,

Just curious, did you purchase a 660 or still have one that you stopped using to go to the 395?

I purchased the 660 a few years ago. Replaced it with the 395 being a better gps. NOT.carolinarider09 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 10:38 pm Just curious, did you purchase a 660 or still have one that you stopped using to go to the 395?
Switched it over yesterday. Used if for 2 months. Will use it as a door stop. Lol.

Thanks for the response. I just looked to see if you could actually purchase a 660 and did not find any.
I have both the 665 and a 660 (which I purchased as a backup). Use the 665 mostly. I was taking a long trip a couple of years ago and thought to myself, Ok, what if the 665 fails while on this trip? So, I now have a backup that has the same routes loaded and uses the same mount.
I'd keep the 395 active just for a backup if you take long rides. The only issue would be the mounts are different.

I too looked for a backup 660. Stupid prices. Anywhere from $700 to $1000. Cdn. That would be about $100 USD. Lolcarolinarider09 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 12:49 pm Thanks for the response. I just looked to see if you could actually purchase a 660 and did not find any.

I would need to completely rewire if I re installed the 395. Total time is about 60 minutes for both. If I need to do a quickie change I have a Nuvi 750.
5 minutes. Can do a hook up with a regular cable, from the battery and direct to the 750.

I have something similar for the audio side. I use earphones for audio and if anything on the bike's audio interface fails I will just plug into the GPS directly.redpattison wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 2:20 pm I too looked for a backup 660. I believe that the BMW Navigator VI will work in a 660 cradle if you need a spare (expensive, though).

Thank you very much. Not too sure what to do at the moments. Still looking for a 660 back up. Keeping the 750 Nuvi, just in case.
Oh yes. I think amazon will not be on my list. However, I had a good laugh.
