Re: Quick Questions
I would say the map transfer would be most likely a no go, as 1) I don't think you can do map transfers with BT and 2) even if you could, you would not have the proper map unlock codes for the Nav VI for it to work.
As far as Basecamp, and Mapsource, I can say Yes to Basecamp, and I honestly don't know one way or the other with Mapsource as I personally haven't used it in years.

Re: Quick Questions
Ok, Its my mates VI
I had both units last night and your right as far as the BMW VI goes it doesn't have the ability to receive maps via bluetooth.
I had to connect it to my desktop for him anyway as the maps were about a year out of date and transferred the routes(Sorry I said Maps in my original Post) via USB.

Re: Quick Questions
The Zumo XT is meant to use Basecamp or the new system Garmin Explore. Mapsource although popular has not been valid for years now.
Re: Quick Questions
MapSource will work with any Garmin unit that connects in mass storage mode, although with certain limitations. Unfortunately it appears it's not possible to set the XT to mass storage so BaseCamp is the only option.
Re: Quick Questions
If you are really asking if you can share Routes between a BMW Nav VI and a Zumo XT via Bluetooth the answer is yes. I've done that with some regularity.
