Not new to garmin but new here!

Post by BigLee »

Hi folks.
Just bought myself a zumo Xt after 10 years with a 660 and a few years back in the day with a 2610 :D
Not the first time I've heard "a sat nav? You can't beat getting lost for a few days in France with a paper map!"
Not for me sucker! :D

Hi @BigLee and welcome to the forum

People look at me stupid when I say I have a sat nav! They say things like "whats wrong with a map" or "You don't need one of those"

These are people that never venture more than 100 miles from their home unless someone with a sat nav is leading

Welcome @BigLee to the forum.
I'm still using my 660 but interested to read people's experiences with the XT. I think the folks who prefer maps have never had to navigate their way through Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, etc---but each to their own
