Re: Bluetooth Receiver
Hey,
Of course it's one extra link in the chain but if you'r happy with it, there's no technical issue for what I know.
Just pair the receiver to the Zumo XT, connect the cable of the earbuds to the 3.5 output of the receiver and that's it.

We know that ZUMO has bugs.
Receiver maybe not work with ZUMO. ZUMO typical bugs

Re: Bluetooth Receiver
I too wanted a 3.5mm jack and am using a Fiio BTR3 paired to my 396. Works great and have never run out of battery on a ride, just recharge at night.

Re: Bluetooth Receiver
A wireless receiver does not work with the Zumo
You need one with a microphone so the Zumo recognises it as a headset

Re: Bluetooth Receiver
There is an autocom module BTM03 which has a power lead for the 12v battery and a 4 pin 3.5mm jack. This is designed to plug into the autocom wired rider pillion communication system. It provides mic, two outputs for stereo earpieces and earth.
It has proved to be excellent - the only way i can use my XT with my wired intercom - as long as it positioned nowhere near the interference from the bike's ECU. Mine is located under the dash shelf of my fairing. I assume you could get an adapter to convert the 3,5mm jack to a socket.
Its not cheap, but it is good quality.
