Does anyone know what the MT-S suffix to 'Zumo XT' means please ?
My XT has gone back to Garmin for replacement. They received it today and are sending me a newly refurbished Zumo XT MT-S EU
The serial number also starts with an S.
They have received mine, but the replacement has still to be shipped.

Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
Links: Zumo 590/5 & BC . . . Zumo XT & BC

I found only one site in Australia who's selling the MT-S for $649... https://www.peterstevens.com.au/garmin- ... -mt-s.html

Thanks. I've found a few places that list the Zumo XT MT-S, but so far nowhere that says what the model is. The same MT-S suffix seems to have been applied to some other units.
I also noted that a lot of UK stores are currently listing the XT at £349 - £80 cheaper than normal price. Whatever that may mean.

349 GB is $460 USD. In the states it sells for $500, but was lowered to $400 only for the Thanksgiving weekend.
As for the MT-S, your best bet is to ask Garmin people who're sending it to you. Keep us posted, will be interesting to know.

Re: ZUMO XT MT-S - what does MT-S mean ?
Well, it arrived today. I still havent got a clue what it means.
Maps, Traffic ? but my previous one had those.
And MT-S seems to be given to other new Garmin Products I notice.
Its a mystery to me. But it has a later version of the Hardware v8 as opposed to v6.
There are no indications on the XT itself, or on the screen, and it starts up in the same way - except the copyright notice in now 2021.
The USB connector seems to be on a slightly raised rubber block which the waterproof flap mates with when it is closed. I don't remember that before.
