More music

Post by Winger63 »

I've backed upped and then deleted all of the foreign language files I don't need but still have only about 2.7gb internal memory. My SD card is blank. Can I transfer file to the card so I can store more music in the internal memory?

Can you not store all your music onto your SD card? This how I do it on my 660.

I tried many times. Finally found this in the manual.

The media player can play music or audio from these sources.

Music files stored on your zūmo® device.

Music files stored on a phone or media player connected to the motorcycle mount USB port.

Bluetooth® audio from a paired phone.

Hi. I just bought the 396 and I can vouch that music can be store on the card. Once stored just choose MP3 instead of Bluetooth, Bluetooth is via your phone for example.

Still trying to work this out. Now I have something new. No SD card in the 395. Connected to Mac and opened Zumo. Deleted the "MP3" folder to see if I could force it to find MP3's on the SD card. Ejected the Zumo from the Mac and disconnected cable. Still haven't inserted the SD card and the unit plays music. Nothing Bluetooth connected - where are the songs stored? :?:

Search zumo for *.mp3

My zumo 550 and 665 find mp3s in any folder. It's just nice to organize them in an mp3 folder.

Figured out how to get the Zumo to see music on the card. Had to use my wife's PC. For some reason all of the hidden files the Mac wants to add were causing it to freeze up. Anyone else with this issue? If so how to get around it.
