IMG file dispayed on map list but..

Hi,

I've just added the img file for Morocco to my Official garmin europe maps, adding the IMG file in the MAP forder, as suggested by the garmin website.

On the device list the map is correctly showed along the others,and the new country is shown in detail in the geographic map, but when I try to calculate a road from a city on the standard garmin maps (madrid in this case)s to a city in Morocco, after 30% calculation the device stops with "unable to calculate".

Any suggestion?

I assume the 2 maps don't connect together so your device cannot calculate a route.

Here are some checks you could do:

- Check your routing avoidances. Ferry?
- Check that the Morocco map is really routable. (It should be) Create a simple route starting and ending in Morocco.
- Assuming you're creating a route in Basecamp first. Does it calculate there?

As a workaround you could split the route from Madrid to Tariffa/Algeciras. And one from Tanger/Ceuta to your destination.
Or, if it calculates in Basecamp, create a track from the route, and send the track to the XT.
