I am still learning about using Garmin BaseCamp Vs. Garmin Explore for off-road trails, both bicycle trails and ATV trails. One of the things with Garmin BaseCamp is I have City Navigator North America NT 2024.1. With Garmin Explore I have a choice of:
Topo
TopoActive
Aerial
Road
I assumed that City Navigator North America NT 2024.1 is the same as Garmin Explore Road, but I am finding some interesting differences.
With that in mind, does anybody happen to know if I can get Garmin TopoActive onto Garmin BaseCamp?

Connect your XT to your computer via USB cable and the TopoActive maps will become available in Basecamp. AFAIK, there is no way to install the TopoActive maps on the computer for use without the XT being connected.

Re: Garmin BaseCamp Vs. Garmin Explore For Off-Road Trails For Garmin Zumo XT
We have very few off road routes that are treated as navigable by the Zumo XT maps. But I did a bit of experimenting with Explore and BC to see how the XT could be use by off-roaders without navigable maps.

Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !
