Copying routes on the XT2

So, I have been reading a bit about RUT behavior on the XT and the XT2, and on my last trip, this was definitely something I was experiencing on the XT.

I am off on a trip to the Black Forest tomorrow morning and I am pretty sure I read somewhere here that if a route was imported to the XT2 (I am using MyRouteApp and beaming routes to the XT2 via Tread), it may exhibit RUT type behaviour. However, I think I also read that routes could be copied and resaved directly on the XT and the resaved routes would then not exhibit the RUT behaviour.

So....quick question....how do you that? Is it possible on the device itself or on the Tread app (iPhone or iPad)? I can't figure out how to do it....

Sorry for the slow reply on this one, but just back from my trip to the Black Forest. The XT2 performed very well, but I do have some more questions - will post a separate thread.

I figured out how to make a copy by trial and error, but got there...
