Converting route to track

Using a Zumo 396LMT-S ... I've planned a route for an extended ride for me and several of my friends to ride, including fuel stops etc. I have the fuel and rest stops set to alert so I don't miss them. If I convert the route to a track, will the alert points still alert?

dont think so ,a track is just a line drawn on a map.I beleive some devices can navigate a track but i dont really know what that means
