Is anyone successfully using Basecamp on an apple silicon mac? I haven't figured out exactly what combination of circumstances causes it to crash but it almost always crashes as soon as my Montana 700i gets detected. If there are any routes stored in "My Collection" on the mac, it's almost guaranteed to crash upon connection. I'm starting over each time with a fresh reinstall and no existing data, so I don't think I have any "poisoned" data persisting. The windows version works fine on a windows PC.
All that aside, since I understand Garmin is no longer maintaining Basecamp, what are we "supposed" to use instead? All I really care about is creating short day-trip routes with a few shaping points to keep them on the desired roads, but the "Explore" website seems ill-suited for anything like that, at least for either the montana or the zumo xt.
