In Route list menu on the XT2, you see a screen like this, showing all of your current routes.
The route icon alongside the name of the route is blue. But a couple of days ago, I was looking at another XT2 and some of their icons were different colours. The owner wanted to find out why - and I couldn't help.
A similar display for Tracks shows a footprint icon, and the colour of that changes according to the colour that you set for the track.
But although you can change the colour of a route in Basecamp, it does not affect the colour of the route or the colour of that blue pin icon.
Any ideas what the different colour can mean ? Or does anyone have different colour icons on their XT2 ?

XT2 Routes Menu - Icon colours
Have owned Zumo 550, 660 == Now have Zumo XT2, XT, 595, 590, Headache
Use Basecamp (mainly), MyRouteApp (sometimes), Competent with Tread for XT2, Can use Explore for XT - but it offers nothing that I want !

Just a guess, how the routes were produced? On the XT2, Tread or other?

Re: XT2 Routes Menu - Icon colours
I just tried routes installed via trip manager, imported via sd card and created with trip planner on the device. They all show as blue, matching what @jfheath posted. I'll try to remember to keep an eye out for anything different in the future.
It's not fun if we don't have any mystery to solve.

I wondered if that was the difference, and I intend to check that out - but I want to make sure that I have all of my data taken from my XT2 before I do another reset. I know that the person who showed me is not a fan of the Tread app, but to have come to that conclusion, he must have used it at some point - so it is possible.Oop North John wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 11:19 am Just a guess, how the routes were produced? OK - checked that - I'll have to wash my hands now, my XT2 is contaminated with the Tread App.Oop North John wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 11:19 am Just a guess, how the routes were produced? On the XT2, Tread or other?
No - I tried routes from tread; routes containing 'Great Roads' which are voted for by users for difficulty and scenery, and routes that have been created on the XT2 Route Planner; routes created on the Tread app on my ipad. It made no difference.
It's not important - but it would be nice to know. It can't be there by accident.
