So when I first signed up for this forum I as able to login and return to the forum page with no problems.
But lately, like over the last few months, I have to re-enter my username and password every single time. It's like the 'remember me' has amnesia.....
When I tick the 'remember me' box at login, it does register my login (checking the "remember me" table in my profile) but as soon as I close the browser tab I can't get back in. I log back in, check my profile and the 'remember me' entry is still in the table, but it's not being recognized.
Doesn't seem to matter if I'm using Firefox or Chrome, or whether I'm using my VPN or not. I've cleared my browser cache, no change.
I've not tried on my other computers(win7) or my mobile(android), just my current laptop(win10).
Has anyone else ran into this?
Thoughts or suggestions?

Re: Login issues
Yea, I did a selective clearing of the cookie data for just the Zumo forum.
I also just noticed that I had an entry in the browser settings for logins and passwords, so I'm going to clear that as well and see what happens.

Re: Login issues
I suspect it is a problem at your end otherwise everyone else would be having the issue too

Re: Login issues
Well, it's looking more like it is something with my Thinkpad and Win10.....
I've to no troubles with my older laptop that is Win7/Linux Mint...
Oh well, just something else on my list to not like about Microsoft....and Win10...

Re: Login issues
ThinkPad maybe, Win10 I've been running for quite some time with no troubles. Sounds like you might be clearing cookies when turning off/hibernating/sleeping.

Re: Login issues
I run a couple of forums and I always find its a cookie issue
There is a "Delete cookies" link at the bottom right I would click that then close the browser then restart it all

Re: Login issues
Well, It's most likely not a generic win10 issue, I can open one of my win10 VM's and it works fine, so it is something specific to my laptop.
I re-installed Firefox, but no change that I have noticed.
I can get the browser(Firefox) to save my username and password, though it doesn't seem to accept it every time. I don't get the "invalid password" notice, but rather it's like it never accepted the login request and I'm right back to where I started.....
I'm better than I was before, so long as I don't have to type it all in each time, I can live with it.
Thanks all for the suggestions, time to let this dog lay.
