I am selling my Garmin 595. It's up for auction on eBay. An interested party asked if the lifetime maps apply for a new owner.
I think they do; it says that one set of LMs go with every LM unit sold. But forever?
Anyone know for sure?
Do Lifetime Maps go with a used 595?
Re: Do Lifetime Maps go with a used 595?
The lifetime maps do transfer with the unit. I would avoid the term "forever" though as that is not Garmin's definition of lifetime.

Yeah, "Useful life of the unit". That should be a long, long time.
The last sentence in the policy you posted does give me cause for concern, though:
" Your nüMaps Lifetime subscription or other lifetime map subscription may not be transferred to another person or another Garmin product."
