UPS just delivered a replacement mounting bracket for my Zumo XT. It seems to fit a little snugger.

Re: Replacement Mounting Bracket
If you are losing power at the mount, have you checked the pins on the power lead? People are reporting issues losing them or them becoming damaged.
Garmin are replacing some early mounts, as they were giving a loose fit to the main unit - not as a result of power loss problems.
Re: Replacement Mounting Bracket
I'll have a check when I get time. The unit also moves slightly in the mount. I don't know why they have the cable separate from the mount. I did manage to get a video of the problem to send to Garmin. It's frustrating not being able to TALK to someone.simoncrewe wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 2:35 pmIf you are losing power at the mount, have you checked the pins on the power lead? Re: Replacement Mounting Bracket
Finally got to TALK to someone at Garmin today. At last they are sending me a replacement mount. I'm mhoping this will sort the issue. I asked whether the cable requires replacing at the same time they reckoned No. We'll see what happens when it arrives.
Re: Replacement Mounting Bracket
Turns out the order was raised on the old part number, hence not sent out.
Then an order was raised that required me to pay postage. (£5.99). So another phone call and an order was raised without the postage. 24 hours later it still isn't showing as shipped.
