Expected battery life on a 590 ?

I was wondering what life people are getting from their 590 when on a fully charged battery and on about 60% brightness ?

I have only ever got a few minutes which is a lot less than my old 550, and so I bought a new battery from Garmin, but this is also "only a few minutes" after an overnight charge...perhaps it is not being fully charged in my unit ? This is not what the spec sheet claims you get...

What am I doing wrong ?

Read this thread. viewforum.php?f=12. Even after doing "the fix" every so often I have to unplug the battery and plug it back it in order to get it to work correctly.
