Re: XT Does Not Pass Rain Test
I wasn't referring to Garmin (at the moment i really don't care because they removed the ability to choose which apps we want to receive notifications from, like on 595LM and Smartphone Link, and said to me that if many people asks for it, they'll considered 🤦♂️). I meant for you to compare with oth ...

Re: XT Does Not Pass Rain Test
Well, i have one but isn't from tempered glass so, if Garmin is correct, even if i don't have problems, can't be used as a comparison.
You have to compare, at least first, with those who use tempered glass screen protector.

Re: Zumo XT: how does traffic data compare vs Waze or TomTom?
Garmin is useless, pretty much every ride I have done with the XT tries to re-route me because it thinks roads are closed when they are not, I've turned Traffic off altogether. It can be Here Maps fault because Garmin uses the maps provided by Here and, at least in Europe, the maps from the android ...

Re: Zumo XT: how does traffic data compare vs Waze or TomTom?
For what i already read, TomTom traffic is still better. Do you mean in Portugal or in Europe in general? This is actually one of the reasons why I am wondering if it wouldn't be better to just buy a cheap, second hand rugged waterproof phone and use that as satnav. I wouldn't use my main phone as ...

Waze is a different player here since not only it's own by Google that improves more than Here Maps but also because Waze users are more actively (and have more, and easier options) to inform about traffic conditions.

Re: Speed cam warning
for me PGPSW speed camera databaae works fine on my XT, as it did on my 550 and 396 before it. I also have free lifetime PGPSW updates having previously supplied the various yellow speed camera icons on their site., because of the XT's higher def screen these are a little small but I've doubled ...

Re: Sharing a route via Bluetooth
That's not a master reset, but it can help too if all you normally do is put it into sleep mode When we receive an update, it says precisely that the XT will (or need) to restart in order for the update to be applied. But "master reset" and "restart" are 2 completely different things.

That's not a master reset; that's simply a restart. [emoji38]

If you have Twitter, ask Garmin. They usually answer.
