My XT2 shows "popular motorcycle roads" in blue.
Maybe the XT does this too?
I've never bothered to find out what makes the device consider a road popular.

Re: zumo xt2 does not auto connect to galaxy s25
For what it is worth, my Samsung S22 reconnects to my XT2 automatically without issue. I have eliminated the Tread app from my setup entirely however.

Re: Track voice instructions
It is possible to convert a track to a route. That has limitations but you can then get turn-by-turn directions for the route. Do you have waypoints for the track?

Re: New xt2 ... using mra 1.1gpx problem with routes not importing
Regain For what it's worth, I have been using Closest Entry Point to start my routes for some time with good success. My theory on how it works is this ... the “Closet Entry Point” is the point where two routes meet. The first is the planned route. The second is a route calculated from the current l ...

Re: New xt2 ... using mra 1.1gpx problem with routes not importing
Regain Can you share more about how you get routes from MRA to the XT2 via Tread? I have eliminated Tread from my world entirely, due, in part, to the fact that it changes existing and imported routes - see https://www.zumouserforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3007 . It would be helpful if Garmin ...

Re: Deleted Routes Reappearing
FrankB Thanks for the XT testing. Yes, this might be an XT2 specific thing. I'll keep an eye out for it and share anything I learn. Regain Something to consider for your long summer travel. For any non-trivial travel, I have been saving a copy of my routes on the sd card (gpx files). The XT2, Tread ...

Re: Deleted Routes Reappearing
Sorry FrankB , I could have been more clear. I do not think the reappearing routes have anything to do with Trip Manager. As, I said, Trip Manager is a great tool. I hope many other zumo XT and XT2 users give it a try. Based on what both I and Regain have seen, it appears that the zumo itself is ...

Re: Deleted Routes Reappearing
I had deleted routes reappear yesterday while using Trip Manager that FrankB was kind enough to share with all of us. (It is a great tool.) I'm not using the Tread app at all - no syncing to Explore database. I had created a route in a gpx file, then used Trip Manager's "Send to device" to send ...

Re: Using shaping/via points for Rever or Google kml files
So I'm a bit late to this post - sorry I don't look at The Other route planning software thread very often. Apparently I should. That is my video and my software (Track To Route or Trk2Rt) that lkraus referred to. I use Rever regularly for Route planning, partly because of its Butler Motorcycle Maps ...

Re: Tread Changes Exisiting Routes - Shaping Point Issues
@FrankB also has something in the pipeline - TripManager - already available for the XT1. It isn't quite working with the XT2, but I'm helping to get that sorted out. We had a breakthrough last week - which still requires a lot of testing. Well that sounds promising. Thank you FrankB and jfheath
