I also have a charging issue when connected to mount, it goes straight to battery mode. If I connect via USB it charges. Did an update last night, and now getting Maps are Corrupted message despite both the XT and the Garmin Express advise everything is up to date.

Have gone to Express and done updates, but still corrupted. Refreshed City Navigator 2024.10 maps but still displaying corrupted maps! What more can I do?

In all likelihood, you are using the pinch to zoom function and zooming out past the point where the XT switches the orientation to "North" up. Same thing happens when you use the + or- button to zoom in and out. Not sure if there is any way to prevent this, but that is my guess as to what is ...
