Re: It might be me
Well I have tried all the fixes to resolve the issue with updating maps onto Basecamp. But am no further forward. Uninstalled,re-install GE and BC. I have switched off as much internet security on my home network as I am prepared to do and connected directly to my router with a patch cable so no ...

Re: It might be me
Different network to your home? Exactly what do you mean by that? If it's a network at work it's probably not configured to allow you to do what you want. That's my thought too. Downloading stuff at work is a big no-go for me. I would tend to agree with you if I was on the company network. We are ...

Re: It might be me
just check that the folder structure on the card is EXACTLY the same as the device.I didnt hink there was a routes folder???? Yep the path was the same. it was route.gpx file at the end. So I'm happy about that. Now then. Does anyone know what is going on here? I have re-installed Garmin Express ...

Re: It might be me
And just to prove (to myself) that it wasn't a fluke I did it again this time with a new route that had not been on the Zumo before Zumo7.jpg Zumo8.jpg Zumo9.jpg Zumo10.jpg So a big thank you for your help, just being able to bounce some thoughts about and get a "have you tried this......" response ...

Re: It might be me
Having opened the Sub Menu
You get this
Open Import
Check the box of the route you want to import and open using the blue Import button
And there you have the route ready to GO

Re: It might be me
Ok. So I'm starting to get into this now :D :D I think a combination of the re-format of the card and re-inserting it into the Zumo has linked it to the menu. Or, of course, it might have been me! After having a good old play about with it I can now Send a route to the memory card, and Import it ...

Re: It might be me
Can you check the card. If data has been sent there should be a folder named Garmin with a .gpx file inside it. Is there? Hi Checked the card and yes there is \Garmin\GPX\route.gpx on the card. I am beginning to wonder if as it is a 346 that maybe this feature is not enabled on this level of device ...

Re: It might be me
Right I have some screenshots of my Zumo connecting to BC As it could do nothing disastrous to my routes waypoints, I opted to re-format the card with FAT32 file format This first one always comes up Basecamp4.jpg Followed by this one...... Basecamp5.jpg So clear the alarms and we have this screen ...

Re: It might be me
Thanks for the replies folks. :D :D Ok, so it's gradually coming together. Just a couple of things I haven't got pinned down. Probably the first is the transfer to the 346 from BC. If I use "Send To Device" and select "Zumo 346" (that is the device memory) then my new route is detected, and the Zumo ...

Re: It might be me
OK So I tried with BC and felt I was banging my head against a brick wall.. The screen shot above showed the map to be something "Stick Man" would be happy with. Basecamp#2.jpg Item 1 is a comms error to the Zumo. Item 2 suggests that the roads around Cromer are in the Tidal Zone (Let's not get ...
