Can someone confirm this method is not working on an XT? (it works on my 390).
The XT is completely garbled with a mix of maps, probably due to an error during update.
Soft reset or reset from the menu systems does not do any difference on the XT.

Thanks, but was already tried. Does not delete maps.

Lars, I think you may have confused us all! Your original post did not mention deleting maps, as 'sussamab' pointed out a factory reset never deletes maps.
If you want to delete maps off the unit you will need to do that with the XT connected to your PC/Mac. Just be careful what you delete, as it is easy to introduce problems whilst deleting files.
