Same here, odd the Android app version of Tread only went from 2.08.28 to 2.08.29.
I did notice that if I change a track color on the Tread app, it syncs to the XT2, but the track always opens showing track color as "acceleration" instead of "none". Also on some tracks if I flip to "none" it still shows the same multicolor view I see in all the other "speed", "acceleration", "sharp turns". views and they all look identical.
2 steps forward, 1 back.

Re: Latest XT2/Tread software version
I´ve done some tests of the new version 2.08.30:
- I cannot design routes with off-road tracks with the Tread App, in any of the modes (Adventure, shortest route, etc.). In all of them, recalculate a straight line and not draw the route on offroad tracks.
- When I design the same offroad routes on the XT2 device, then it does draw the routes in the route planner, and I get it to draw the offroad tracks.
- I have been checking all the route settings and there are no prohibitions in either of the 2 planners. Previously, the Tread app allowed offroad routes to be drawn perfectly when a WP was placed in the middle of an offroad track.
- It seems that if I check the "avoid unpaved trails" option the Tread App route planner works better
do you have this same problem? Thanks

Re: Latest XT2/Tread software version
Garmin made out that the new Tread APP was going to be the "Bees Knees" for the new Zumo XT2. Seems that so far, it's as about as useful as a dead Blow Flie floating in a dunny bowl!

I love it when companies provide detailed release notes so I know what bugs have been fixed and I can fully appreciate all the new "functionality".
