Hi all, as title says is it OK to delete old maps. Have found the thread about deleting the express folders but was not sure about the maps.
TIA and a merry christmas to all.

Re: Deleting old maps.
I've never found a use for old maps and they do take up a substantial amount of storage. You can delete them from a PC just as you would uninstall an app. Go to Settings→Apps→Installed Apps→Garmin City Navigator 20xx.xx , click the three dots and Uninstall. You can also just delete them from File Explorer, but that may leave garbage in your Apps list.

Thanks I use basecamp all the time. I'm not very good at it but it does everything I need. I don't post a lot but do a lot of reading and thanks to everybody for making my life easier.
Re: Deleting old maps.
Hi another question. I have deleted all old map except the latest which are NT_2023_10.gmap and NTU_2025_20.gmap. When you go to ProgramData>Garmin>Maps there are 3 folders :-
City_Navigator_Europe_NT_2023_10.gmap
City_Navigator_Europe_NTU_2025_20.gmap
RMU
The RMU folder contains 1 folder called EU which contains 3 folders :-
2024_10
2024_20
2025_10
These appear to be maps can these be deleted?
TIA
