cover for connections on the mount

Post by warfelron »

I have been looking for a cover, to cover the GPS connection when I take the GPS off when I'm staying at a hotel. I don't like leaving those connection pins exposed to the weather. I just call GArmin ... They dont make one. They told me most people keep thier bike in a garage. I said I do to but i also ride mine for overnight trips and take off the GPS at night (or someone will for me) and did not want the pin connection exposed to the weather.

You should be able to buy the larger rubber connecter cover on eBay separate from the lock.

Have you lost the original power plug cover that comes on the lead?

I read somewhere that the supplied rubber cover can cause pin damage. Could be wrong though 😅🤣, I often am.

This thread is worth a read.

If you search online you can find the files to make them with a 3d printer

I had two made by a friend and they are really good
